Hilton’s Conrad brand will debut its first resort in Mexico with the opening of the new Conrad Punta de Mita in September 2020.
The new build resort offers 324 guestrooms and suites with views of the Pacific Ocean. Its suites and villa ‘Casitas’ boast large patios, plunge pools, freestanding soaking tubs and outdoor showers. The resort will open at 30 percent capacity in September with 96 guestrooms available for booking.
Resort amenities include three pools—adult, lap and kids pools—spread out among its sprawling outdoor areas. It offers four restaurant and three bar concepts that reflect the local culture. CODEX is a specialty restaurant that features local ingredients and offers unique dining experiences such as the Full Moon Experience, which includes a curated menu based on the phases of the moon. Guests can also enjoy the ‘Cuuca Hiici’ Experience which incorporates traditional foods with gratitude rituals.
The resort features the Conrad SPA, spread over 10,000 sq. ft. and incorporating a unique indoor/outdoor design. Seven cocoon treatment cabanas are nestled among the vegetation and connected by a tunnel of plants and flowers. Conrad Punta de Mita is also located in the same private development as the Litibu Golf Course, offering guests an 18-hole golf experience designed by Greg Norman.
Hyper-local experiences on- and off-property will pay homage to the area’s customs and traditions. The Fish Market and Zarandeado Experience lets travelers step out of the resort and witness the local lifestyle. A 30-minute boat tour through the Marietas Islands brings guests to a working fish market in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to learn to cook Riviera Nayarit’s regional dish pescado Zarandeado.
To celebrate the resort’s opening, guests booking four nights or more can take advantage of The Hola Conrad Package, which includes luxury roundtrip airport transfers, $100 resort credit and complimentary access to Conrad SPA’s wet areas. Rates for the package start at $349 per night.
Also available is the WFP: Work From Paradise Package, with starting rates of $260 and a four-night minimum stay. The package includes a daily $75 resort credit, premium WiFi, early check-in/late check-out and 50 percent discount on a re-energizing massage.
