Los Cabos’ boutique Hotel El Ganzo recently launched a new website focused on conveying the guest experience along with social media-driven packages and virtual reality experiences.
“With travelers becoming increasingly tech-savvy and adopting new digital behaviors as they spend more time researching hotel choices, it is important to provide them with visual proof of the guest experience and a simple design effective in driving direct bookings,” said Ella Messerli, general manager of Hotel El Ganzo, in press materials. “In this thriving and diverse digital age, we’re excited to keep evolving our hotel.”
Part of this digital evolution includes new 360-degree virtual reality videos of the entire property and activities that allow potential guests to virtually tour the hotel before booking. In addition, the Leader of the Pack offering plays off the popularity of social media influencers and Instagram-driven tourism by rewarding guests with a complimentary room if two of their friends also book a stay. The hotel’s official YouTube channel, which has reached more than 5.2 million views, is also home to dozens of El Ganzo Sessions. These exclusive performances from musicians handpicked by El Ganzo’s music curator Mark Rudin include international artists such as Natalia LaFourcade, Thievery Corporation, and Atlas Genius who all stopped by the property’s recording studio, The Underground.
