Hilton has expanded its lifestyle portfolio in Colombia with the opening of York Medellin, Curio Collection by Hilton, marking the brand’s debut in Medellin and its third Curio Collection property in the country, following openings in Cartagena and Bogota.
Located in the El Poblado district, York Medellin becomes Hilton’s 27th hotel in Colombia and adds to the company’s growing lifestyle footprint across the Caribbean and Latin America, where Hilton currently has nearly 40 lifestyle hotels open and plans for nearly 40 more in development.
New in Medellin
The 111-suite property features suites with separate living areas and fully equipped kitchens. Select suites also include smart-home technology, such as voice-controlled settings and 4K televisions. The hotel also offers pet-friendly accommodations.
Amenities include a rooftop infinity pool on the 23rd floor with panoramic city views, Henko Spa offering wellness and relaxation treatments and a fitness center on the 22nd floor.
For dining, York Medellin features Nomade Restaurant, serving a menu that blends local and international cuisine with Peruvian influences, and Ze View Rooftop Bar, offering cocktails, curated wines and 360-degree views of the city. Guests also receive a complimentary breakfast buffet.
The new hotel is situated near major business hubs, shopping centers and entertainment districts—including Parque Lleras, Oviedo and Santafe malls and EAFIT University.
