Restored 18th-Century Irish Manor

Set across 500 acres in County Kilkenny, Mount Juliet Estate recently completed an extensive restoration of its historic Manor House, originally built in 1757.

The Georgian estate once served as the residence of Somerset Hamilton Butler and Lady Juliet Boyle and remains one of Ireland’s best-known historic countryside hotels. The refurbishment expanded the Manor House suite inventory from eight to 24 accommodations while preserving original fireplaces, timberwork and decorative Georgian architectural details. 

Updated guestrooms incorporate modern lighting, environmental controls and contemporary furnishings inspired by the Irish countryside and River Nore. The estate also introduced new amenities, including a private cinema, a restored wine cave and expanded experiences at the Michelin-starred Lady Helen restaurant.

Opened in early May, Casa J.K. Place Roma brings luxury residential-style hospitality to an 18th-century Roman palazzo on Via dei Prefetti in central Rome. Located near Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, the property combines historic architecture with apartment-style accommodations.
