AVA Resort Cancun has kicked off its first-ever Summer Festival, a multi-week celebration of cuisine, art and family-friendly entertainment. Running through Aug. 14, 2025, the festival offers daily programming designed to appeal to guests of all ages, from kids and teens to food lovers and culture seekers.
“For families still considering their summer escape, AVA offers an unparalleled experience. Immersive experiences, elevated cuisine, world-class entertainment and the added benefit of kids and teens staying free. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy an elevated, family-friendly getaway that truly caters to every guest,” said Ash Tembe, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AIC Hotel Group, in a media statement.
Highlights of the Summer Festival
The festival features a lineup of interactive activities and entertainment. For younger guests, that includes hands-on workshops like piñata making, solar-powered robot building and pizza-making classes. Teens can play flag football, beach volleyball and more. One of the headline moments is a virtual performance by DJ Lenny Pearce, best known for his viral “Toddler Raves”—family-friendly shows that remix children’s songs with EDM beats.
Michelin-Starred Talent & Artisanal Experiences
On the culinary side, guests can look forward to appearances from acclaimed chefs Michel Mustiere, known for his French fine dining expertise, and Kiko Moya, a two-time Michelin-starred chef. The resort will also welcome top mixologists Fatima Leon and Eli Martinez, both affiliated with the World’s 50 Best Bars list.
Beyond food and drink, guests can experience immersive art installations, including works by Josue Velazquez, creator of Corazon de Juguete, and Paloma Santa Cruz, whose textile art explores themes of transformation and chaos.
Families booking a 5-night stay receive $1,000 in resort credits, and kids and teens stay free.
