Design Hotels has redesigned one of Stockholm’s Art Nouveau buildings, the former Ateneum school for girls, originally built in 1910, into a sleek Scandinavian hotel, Miss Clara.
The property, which features high ceilings, expansive windows and the original spiral staircases, encompasses 92 rooms, two suites, and two Etage Suites. Located in an up-and-coming neighborhood in Stockholm, Miss Clara offers guests an intimate ambiance, with a chic bar that has windows overlooking Sveavagen Boulevard, and an 80-seat restaurant that features an updated take on Swedish classics. The property also features a gym, a sauna, and a relaxation lounge. Rates start at $240 per night.
