With sales already set to make 2019 a record-breaking year for Costsavers, the company is responding to the increase in demand by introducing a brand-new Asia program.
Launching in January 2019, the new Asia program will serve seven destinations—Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India and Hong Kong—from $157 per day, representing a savings of up to 36 percent in comparison to the cost of fully independent travel.
“There is real appetite from the ‘Ready to Go’ value traveler, which has opened up a whole new audience to the touring sector and is creating an unbeatable opportunity for the trade,” said Costsaver CEO Gavin Tollman in press materials. “We’ve responded to the incredible demand by expanding into new destinations with each year of operation, and we’re very excited to be opening up Asia to the Guided Independent Traveler for the very first time in 2019.”
Highlights of the 2019 offerings in Asia include the 10-day Japan Discovery itinerary, which visits Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and stops in popular sights such as Mount Fuji and Hiroshima along the way, plus the 9-day Iconic Thailand journey, which is ideal for clients who want to see both the countryside of Thailand and its busiest cities like Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Departures for the Japan Discovery itinerary start on March 16, 2019 with rates priced from $3,675 pp, while the Iconic Thailand will be offered starting Jan. 19, 2019 with starting rates of $1,550 pp.
