Melia Hotels & Resorts has announced that its Puerto Rico retreat will be rebranded as Melia Coco Beach. Formerly part of the Gran Melia Hotels and Resorts family, the resort will be renovated throughout 2017 to transition to a different brand within the Melia Hotels International portfolio.
In the coming months, Melia Coco Beach will adopt Melia-branded services and amenities including its premium service concept, THE LEVEL. The current food and beverage offerings will be updated to include a buffet restaurant, a steakhouse, and a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant along with favorites such as Pasion by Myrta, which offers Puerto Rican cuisine.
In addition, Melia Coco Beach will upgrade 120 guestrooms to become part of THE LEVEL, which will also feature six Pool Garden Villas and an exclusive lounge for THE LEVEL guests. Additional benefits of this premium service include a private restaurant for breakfast, a check-in and check-out lounge, preferential bookings at restaurants, concierge service, complimnetary snacks and beverages throughout the day, and upscale in-room amenities.
Couples are invited to participate in the Romance by Melia program, where they’ll enjoy curated special services and packages created specifically for wedding receptions, honeymoons and overall romance at Melia Coco Beach. Guests of all ages will be able to experience new programming, including a kids program offering uniquely curated children’s activities and amenities. Current amenities include YHI Spa, offering relaxing spa treatments, three pools (including one for kids and THE LEVEL guest pool), and access to a nearby championship golf course. Rates at Melia Coco Beach start at $149. For more information, call (888) 956-3542 or visit melia.com.
