Eating your way through Seoul, a la vegan. A new Sky Vacations program in Korea’s capital that puts the focus on plant-based cuisine has participants exploring bustling markets and participating in kimchi-making classes, among other delights.

Sky Vacations partnered with the Korea Tourism Organization to create the 4-day Vegan Culinary Expedition Through Seoul itinerary, taking place May 27-30, 2024.

The highlight of this culinary odyssey is the exclusive focus on vegan experiences, from a hands-on vegan kimchi-making class to savoring plant-based delights at Seoul’s sought-after vegan restaurant, Plantude.

Richard Krieger, director of Sky Vacations, noted in a press release, “We’re thrilled to introduce a one-of-a-kind journey that not only explores the dynamic facets of Seoul but also celebrates its diverse and delicious vegan culinary landscape. As a company committed to offering unparalleled travel experiences, this program is a testament to our dedication to innovation and providing our travelers with truly exceptional travel experiences.”

Botanical Wonder in Seoul

This culinary expedition invites participants to traverse bustling markets, fashionable districts, meditation and tea ceremony with a temple monk and historical landmarks. In addition, most days culminate in an exquisite vegan lunch/dinner experience, including a botanical wonder at the A Flower Blossom on the Rice restaurant, which serves meals using ingredients grown in accordance with eco-friendly practices.

In addition to exploring Seoul’s culinary delights, recommend clients sightsee beyond the capital city with some post-tour extensions throughout Korea.
