Amancaya in The Bahamas

Lifestyle and hospitality brand Aman has announced forthcoming property Amancaya in Exuma, The Bahamas.

The new property will be set across two of the Exumas’ most secluded private cays, known for their white-sand beaches and world-class diving. Meaning ‘peaceful island’ in Taíno, Amancaya will consist of a 36-pavilion Aman hotel and limited collection of fully-serviced Aman Residences. Created in partnership with Swiss investor, philanthropist and sportswoman Dona Bertarelli, the ultra-luxury property will feature resort amenities including a marina, Beach Club, Aman Spa and multiple dining venues.

Aman’s First Property in The Bahamas

“The introduction of Aman into The Bahamas is a significant milestone for our brand, which has already achieved much success in the Caribbean,” said Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, in a press release statement. “As one of the most coveted locations in the destination, Aman guests have long requested our presence there. Through our collaboration with Dona Bertarelli, we have found an unrivalled setting for exclusivity and natural beauty, and I’m delighted to introduce the Aman lifestyle — from unparalleled service, privacy and transformative experiences — to The Bahamas.”

Aman’s portfolio includes 35 hotels, resorts, branded residences and private clubs in over 20 destinations, 15 of which are within or close to UNESCO Heritage Sites. Amancaya is currently under construction, and will be the brand’s first property in The Bahamas, and its third property in the Caribbean region. The brand currently operates Amanera in Rio San Juan, Dominican Republic, and Amanyara in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
