The Marker Key West Harbor Resort, a waterfront Florida property, has unveiled a $3 million renovation, including its new Residence One & Two Bedroom Suites featuring open-air balconies. Located in the private residence Harbor House, on the ground and second floors, it’s a collection of suites set along the Key West Harbor.

Your clients can choose from 1- and 2-bedroom layouts for The Residences, with large private wrap-around balconies and views of Caroline Street. Immediately upon entering the expansive 1,000-1,400-sq.-ft. suites, guests are met with contemporary artwork offset by warm oak floors, sumptuous linens, and rattan furniture, evoking the feeling of a tropical beach resort. Each suite features a mid-century modern wet bar, with a selection of Key West beers and spirits for purchase, including Papa’s Pilar Rum, which is distilled within walking distance of the property. The spa-like bathrooms feature a soaking tub and walk-in rain shower, handmade cement tiles, brass hardware, and white countertops. Guestrooms additionally feature large soaking tubs and showers.

“We look forward to welcoming new travelers to The Marker and introducing them to our new luxury Residences with spacious balconies and free Wifi, ideal for remote learning and working outside in the South Florida sun,” said GM Sean Van Den Broeck in a press release statement.

The Key West hotel’s fitness center was also updated, adding new state-of-the-art equipment, including Hydrow rower machines and Peloton bikes.

Located in the historic seaport at the foot of William Street in Key West, The Marker is just steps from the waterfront boardwalk, al fresco dining, outdoor bars, fishing charters, and only a couple of blocks from Duval Street and Mallory Square’s nightly Sunset.

The Key West resort offers plenty of space for social distancing, including three saltwater pools, an open-air outdoor restaurant, and bar for al fresco dining with ocean breezes. The low-rise nature of the property makes it easy to navigate without using elevators, along with expansive outdoor areas throughout the hotel.

In response to COVID-19, the property is maintaining industry-leading and scientifically driven elevated cleanliness standards, embracing the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s (AHLA) Safe Stay initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace protocols.
