After two months of lockdowns, the Principality of Monaco has gradually started to re-open. Since June 2, 2020, museums, bars and restaurants have reopened, a few days after retail stores, as part of a vast recovery plan.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the Government of Monaco has prioritized health safety and has done everything possible to protect residents, day-trippers and tourists alike, successfully limiting the impact of the pandemic.

Monaco’s hotels are united towards one objective: to welcome guests in the best possible conditions with health and safety as a top priority.

Hotels that are open include: Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Fairmont Monte Carlo, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Hotel de France, Hotel Ambassador, Hotel Novotel Monte-Carlo, Hotel Columbus Monte-Carlo, Port Palace, and Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo.

Le Meridien Beach Plaza is scheduled to open on June 26, Monte-Carlo Beach on July 3, 2020, and Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo on July 8.

In addition, after several months of renovations, the Place du Casino has reemerged, a modern, open redesigned space. Special precautions are in place in the famed casino including steam-cleaned gaming tables, plexiglass around the slot machines and all staff in masks and gloves.
