Wastin’ away again in Margaritaville will now be possible in the heart of Times Square as a $300 million Margaritaville Resort opens in the Crossroads of the World.
Opening in March, the new resort will transport guests and locals to the iconic Margaritaville state of mind. Located in Times Square at 560 Seventh Avenue, the 234-room, 29-story property will boast five signature food and beverage concepts, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant, a rooftop LandShark Bar & Grill, 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar, Tiki Bar and an all-new concept, Chill Bar.
Time Square’s only outdoor pool will be housed here. It is heated and will be in use year-round. Upscale retail shopping, concierge, valet parking, laundry/valet service, and a fitness center are other features.
“From the beaches of Florida to the Great Smoky Mountains to the corner of Seventh Avenue and 40th Street, Margaritaville brings fun, relaxation, and a much-needed escape from the every day to any set of coordinates,” said John Cohlan, chief executive officer of Margaritaville, in a statement.
