Playa Hotels & Resorts has announced that the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is officially open for bookings.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort boasts 291 suites and is located in the Riviera Maya region, with easy access to the Cancun International Airport and only six miles from Playa del Carmen.

Situated on 1.5 acres of white sand beach and surrounded by mangroves, the newly remodeled resort has been designed to resemble a modern hacienda.

“We are excited to, once again, partner with Hyatt and expand our footprint in Mexico’s Riviera Maya region,” said Fernando Mulet, executive vice president & chief development officer, Playa Hotels & Resorts, in a press statement. “From inception more than nine years ago in Cancun, the Hyatt Zilara experience has been the standard-bearer for what an all-inclusive experience could be and should be for adult guests.”

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya features a sprawling ocean-view pool with an adjacent hot-tub, as well as the Zen Spa offering ten treatment rooms, hydrotherapy tub, sauna and steam rooms.

The resort offers unlimited food and beverages at nine themed restaurants, bars and lounges, including the signature Olas Beach Club & Restaurant featuring modern Mexican and Latin Caribbean cuisine. Other dining options include Tempest, offering sushi and Asian fusion cuisine; Italian restaurant Capri Grille; and chef-driven buffet El Comedor.

Guests can take advantage of the resort’s grand opening offer with rates starting at $149 per person, per night, for bookings made by Jun. 20, 2022, for travel Dec. 1, 2023, and beyond.
