United Airlines has launched a new direct flight between its home port at Chicago International Airport (ORD) and Tel Aviv, Israel.

United’s new route will be the first operated by an American airline on the route between Tel Aviv and Chicago, as well as the company’s third direct service from Israel. The airline operates the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on this line, which is considered the most advanced passenger aircraft in the world.

In addition to the new route, United will increase service on the route between Tel Aviv and its home port in New York/Newark, from 10 to 14 weekly flights starting Oct. 2, 2020.

United will also renew its flights to Washington D.C., its fourth destination from Israel, starting on Oct. 26, 2020.

With the addition of the new flight, United will offer the largest number of direct routes between Israel and the United States, more than any other American airline.
