SLS Playa Mujeres has opened in Cancun as SLS’s first all-inclusive resort along the Yucatán Peninsula.
Set within a gated community located just 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport, the new resort offers 498 guest rooms and suites across the categories Delight, Captivate and Euphoria. Captivate Swim Out rooms feature private gardens with river pools, while the Envy suite boasts three king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, spacious living and dining spaces, and an expansive outdoor terrace with sea views.
The opening of SLS Playa Mujeres also marks the debut of SLS Elite, a set of luxury rooms with benefits including private lounge access, preferred dining reservations and entry to an exclusive beach. SLS Elite options include two-level rooms with a private roof deck jacuzzi, lounge and panoramic views. SLS Elite guests can also expect personalized check-in, butler service, a premium spirits package and airport transfers for extended stays, as well as a complimentary Ciel Spa thermal bath experience.
All-Inclusive Amenities
The resort features 18 distinctive culinary and mixology experiences, such as Mediterranean-inspired dining destinations Fi’lia and Cleo; fresh-off-the-boat seafood grilled over an open flame at Caracol; and New York steakhouse-inspired restaurant Union. Smoke & Mirrors is a speakeasy-style bar serving craft cocktails alongside a curated cigar collection, while Privilege transforms from a relaxing lounge during the day to the resort’s nightlife hotspot.
Other amenities include the 20,000-sf Ciel Spa, featuring thermal baths, an outdoor tranquility pool and 20 treatment rooms. The resort’s five swimming pools include a family pool and kid-friendly splash park, an adults-only pool and exclusive SLS Elite pool.
