Frontier Airlines has launched a daily nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
With the new daily service, the airline will now serve 15 destinations from Fort Lauderdale, and to celebrate Frontier is offering fares starting at $49.
“We are pleased to launch this new route, further expanding our operations in South Florida and providing affordable air travel options to area consumers, as well as to tourists planning their Sunshine State getaways,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines, in a press release statement.
To qualify for the offer, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on May 31, 2026. Sale fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days of the week, through Aug. 26, 2026. The following travel blackout dates apply: May 25-26, 2026; Jun. 18, 2026; Jul. 1-7, 2026. Not all markets are available for all dates of travel and 14-day advance purchase is required.
Frontier Airlines has also introduced enhancements to its product and customer service offerings, such as UpFront Plus seating, an upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers in UpFront Plus will enjoy a window or aisle seat with extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat. The airline also now offers unlimited companion travel for its most loyal customers, with the flexibility to choose a different companion on every Frontier flight. Debuting in 2026, Frontier will begin offering First Class seating, combining comfort and space at an affordable price point.
Additionally, Frontier’s frequent flyer program, Frontier Miles, allows members to earn miles quickly and get rewarded for each dollar spent on Frontier products. Miles accrue based on dollars spent with a standard 10X multiplier: $1 = 10 miles, with multipliers increasing at every elite level up to 20X. Elite status is attainable at only 10,000 points and offers perks such as priority boarding, seat selection and free bag(s) depending on status level. Frontier Miles is also family friendly, offering easy family pooling of miles for Elite members and making it simple for families to enjoy rewards together. Joining is free.
