For winter sports enthusiasts who are always looking for the next mountain to conquer, 2018 will be the year they can check heli-skiing off of their travel to-do list. For five weeks beginning next March, skiers and snowboarders will find the best of Tordrillo Mountain Lodge’s legendary heli-ski adventures at Winterlake Lodge.

Located 30 miles apart in the Tordrillo Mountains, the two remote fly-in lodges are joining forces to offer skiers and snowboarders access the northern region of the Alaska Range. A skilled team of heli-ski guides will shepherd guests through 1.5 million acres of untouched wilderness. Limited to only eight guests per week, 7-night ski packages include 10 hours of A-star helicopter use, two Tordrillo Mountain Lodge guides, private cabins at Winterlake Lodge, all meals, and air transfers from Anchorage.

When not out enjoying the wilderness, guests can take advantage of the hot tub and sauna, yoga classes, massage treatments, and a fully stocked bar at the lodge. Packages also include alternative activities, such as cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and dog mushing.
