Travelers can explore the Antartic Peninsula with Zegrahm Expeditions’ 14-day adventure, in addition to the 22-day Antarctica, South Georgia & the Falkland Islands expedition that it offers yearly.

The new expedition, lead by Russ Evans, who is from the region and has been leading Antarctic expeditions for over a decade, and his team including marine biologist Rick Price and ornithologist Jim Wilson, includes five full days of exploring the Antarctic Peninsula; crusing through Lemaire Channel, a scenic strait where ocra and humpback whales are found; exploring by Zodiac or kayak to discover shorelines and icebergs; visiting remote beaches to witness colonies of chinstrap, Gentoo, and Adelie penguins; boarding Zodiacs to search for leopard, Weddell and crabeater seals; and photographing subjects such as glaciers, icebergs and a variety of wildlife.
