Emerald Cruises & Tours is bringing golf to the Caribbean aboard Emerald Sakara, partnering with PerryGolf on two 7-night yacht voyages that combine three rounds of golf with calls throughout the region.
Scheduled for Dec. 4, 2027, and Feb. 12, 2028, the sailings will be limited to 32 golfers each, giving advisors a new option for clients looking to combine a Caribbean yacht vacation with time on the course.
Where Guests Will Play Golf
Each sailing includes three rounds of golf at three Caribbean courses: Aurora International Golf Club in Anguilla; the Robert Trent Jones II-designed course at Four Seasons Resort Nevis; and Royal Westmoreland in Barbados.
PerryGolf will package and operate the golf programs exclusively, handling tee times, transportation between Emerald Sakara and the courses, equipment, pairings and on-site support. A PerryGolf host will accompany the group throughout the voyage, and one round will feature a friendly competition with awards.
What Advisors Need to Know
The two golf voyages will sail aboard the 100-guest Emerald Sakara, allowing the golf groups to account for a significant portion of the yacht’s guests while keeping participation in the golf program capped at 32 players.
Emerald Cruises will oversee the onboard portion of the trip, including all-suite accommodations, dining and access to the yacht’s marina platform. The yacht’s smaller size also allows it to call at Caribbean ports that cannot accommodate larger cruise ships.
“Emerald Cruises is an outstanding partner for us because its yachts offer exactly what today’s luxury golf traveler is looking for: an intimate atmosphere, exceptional service and the ability to visit spectacular destinations that larger ships simply cannot access,” said Alex Shattuck, CEO of PerryGolf, in a press statement.
Why Emerald and PerryGolf Are Partnering
“Travelers today are seeking experiences that reflect their passions while allowing them to explore the world in more meaningful ways,” said Ken Muskat, President of Scenic Group USA/LATAM, in a press statement. “Our partnership with PerryGolf brings together two brands known for exceptional service and attention to detail to create a distinctive golf and yacht experience in the Caribbean.”
Muskat added that the partnership combines Emerald’s yacht product with PerryGolf’s experience in luxury golf travel, giving guests a way to pursue the sport while exploring the Caribbean.
