Visit Florida Keys & Key West has relaunched its Key Lime Academy training program for travel advisors, introducing updated destination information, new sales resources and itinerary planning tools designed to help advisors better sell the destination.
The self-paced, online certification program is organized by region, giving advisors a better understanding of what makes each district unique. As they go through the training, which covers each region of the Florida Keys—from Key Largo and Islamorada to Marathon, the Lower Keys and Key West—advisors will find information on accommodations, transportation, accessibility, key attractions, seasonal travel and lesser-known experiences.
Upon completing the program, advisors earn the designation of Conch-Star Specialist, recognizing their expertise in planning and promoting travel throughout the Florida Keys & Key West. Graduates also receive access to curated itineraries tailored to a variety of traveler interests, including families, couples, honeymooners, adventure seekers, solo travelers and active adults. The designation signals an advisor’s ability to recommend the right island, experiences and pace of travel while showcasing a deeper understanding of one of Florida’s most diverse destinations.
