Carnival Cruise Line has officially opened its 2027 Alaska season for bookings, and now you have a robust range of new itineraries to consider for your cruise-curious clients.
With three ships deployed to the region—Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend and Carnival Luminosa—the line will offer more than 50 sailings to Alaska from May through September 2027, alongside unique repositioning cruises designed to satisfy both adventure seekers and seasoned cruisers.

Carnival Luminosa: Sailing from San Francisco
Carnival Luminosa returns to Alaska with a distinctive West Coast twist. On April 6, 2027, the 2,800-guest ship will reposition from Sydney to San Francisco with a 23-day Transpacific Journeys cruise that includes stops in Fiji, French Polynesia and Honolulu.
Beginning May 3, the ship will offer a series of 10-day Alaska cruises calling on Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Prince Rupert. For clients seeking something shorter or warmer, several Baja Mexico sailings will also be available, including nine 4-day weekend getaways from San Francisco to Ensenada.
Carnival Legend: Returning to Acapulco & Homeporting in Seattle
Carnival Legend will make headlines in 2027 by marking Carnival’s first return to Acapulco since 2010. The 16-day Panama Canal repositioning cruise departs Tampa on April 4, 2027, and also includes stops in Cartagena and Santa Marta, Colombia; Cabo San Lucas; and a full transit of the canal.
Once in Seattle, the 2,700-guest Legend kicks off a full Alaska season on April 20, offering 22 week-long sailings to Alaska’s top ports—Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord—plus a call in Victoria, BC. The ship will also sail a 16-day Hawaii cruise from Seattle on September 21, visiting four Hawaiian islands and Canada’s west coast.
Carnival Spirit: Caribbean, Canal & Alaska Adventures
Carnival Spirit’s 2027 schedule is tailor-made for bucket-list travelers. It starts with two back-to-back Carnival Journeys cruises: a 9-day Western Caribbean itinerary from Mobile (departing March 20), followed by a 16-day Panama Canal transit to Seattle (March 29), calling on Colombia, Costa Rica and Cabo San Lucas.
Spirit then offers a 15-day Hawaii voyage departing April 14 before beginning a season of 20 seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle. These popular itineraries feature visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria, while an extended 9-day sailing includes a call in Sitka.
