Departing Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout 2019, the Affordable Egypt and Nile Cruise FAM is a weeklong a la carte adventure exploring some of the most popular sites that Egypt has to offer. Experiences included with this Egypt FAM are a half day city tour of Cairo with stops at the Egyptian Museum and Bazaar and a 4-day Nile River Cruise. The cruise will take travel advisors to Luxor, Esna, Edfu, and Aswan with nearly each stop featuring optional excursions. In Luxor, optional excursions include visits to the Luxor Temples, Karnak Temples, Thebes, Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens and the Collossi of Memnon, while a stop in Edfu offers the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple. The stop in Edfu also includes a visit to the temple of Kom Ombo for all guests. In Aswan, advisors can choose to stay and relax on the boat, or participate in an optional excursion package that will take them on a full-day adventure that includes a Felucca Sailing on the Nile River. Later, the group will visit the Temple of Philae, High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk site. After a day in Aswan, the Egypt FAM ends with a flight back to Cairo for an overnight stay and optional farewell dinner on the Nile River.
