Exploring the Svalbard Archipelago
Cross into the Arctic Circle as you explore the Svalbard archipelago, a virtually untouched land that remains one of the most unexplored regions of the world, guided by an expert expedition team on shore landings and Zodiac safaris. Your captain will navigate remote and hidden landings to find the best spots for wildlife viewing and exploration.
As your boots touch down on pebbled shores, keep an eye out for a variety of animals, from reindeer to newly born Arctic fox litters in their soft, brown fur. With the surrounding sea frozen for nine months of the year, the village of Ittoqqortoormiit rarely receives visitors. But its location within Scoresby Sound and its colorful houses makes it a charming scene.
