Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye made the news this month as the first beach resort collab between the brand and Karisma Hotels & Resorts. This family-friendly, sustainable resort is a luxury boutique property with only 55 suites, one restaurant, two pools (including one for adults only), the famous St. Somewhere Spa and more. Its location on Belize’s famous Ambergris Caye makes it a great spot for adventures for young and old. Of note: special Grand Opening rates can be booked now through April 15, 2023, for travel through Jan. 2, 2023.

Your clients can fly into Belize City’s international airport, which has ample connections to the United States. From there, the adventure starts with a scenic flight followed by a ride on the private boat shuttle to the Victorian-inspired open-air lobby—and a welcome margarita. There are four suites to book, including 1- and 2-bedroom choices, plus a 2-bedroom Penthouse Suite. All have terraces with views of either the Caribbean Sea or the verdant mangrove. Select accommodations have a complete kitchen—great for those with kids. Menus are locally inspired restaurants, including the fun beach-side Sun-Baked BBQ Grill. There are, in fact, several BBQ pits in the resort where family and friends can gather and either BBQ with the provided kits or let a private chef take over.
The resort is set across from the second-largest coral reef in the world, so underwater exploration is a must, and the resort has ample non-motorized watersports to choose from.

Hotel De L’Europe Makes Hotel News in Amsterdam

A landmark touted as “the oldest independent luxury hotel in Amsterdam” has announced a new chapter. The entire Hotel De L’Europe has undergone a redesign, but the icing on the cake is ‘t Huys, a new wing that will be ready to welcome your clients in October. The name means “house” in Dutch. This gorgeous little gem has priceless Dutch art owned by the Heineken family (owners since the 50s) on its walls, so your culture-loving clients will thoroughly enjoy their stay.

The updates included all guestrooms, suites, the grand lobby, event spaces and all three restaurants. Many of the accommodations have balconies and terraces, the better to enjoy the scenery. More suites will be added later in the year with the opening of ‘t Huys, which will continue the theme of art, style and luxury. The new wing will boast a library-inspired bookstore named MENDO and Wunderkammer, a florist, that can double as an events space.
A stunning blend of tradition, history, culture and modernity, Hotel De L’Europe offers your clients three restaurants, including a two-Michelin-star eatery, Flore, which has also received the only Michelin Green Star in the city. The property is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and is one of the last family-owned luxury accommodations in Amsterdam. Santo Collection Makes Hotel News in Santorini

Ola, Santorini, is preparing to welcome the latest in swoon-worthy Greek accommodations with Santo Collection, with a focus on luxury and sustainability.

The collection will feature Santo Mine, a five-star 37-suite boutique gem, 20 new suites at Santo Pure—a newly rebranded property—and two 4-bedroom luxury villas dubbed The Villas by Santo Collection. The collection will launch just in time for summer in June of this year.

Santo Mine offers your clients spectacular views of Ammoundi Bay and the Aegean—its 37 suites with private pools or jacuzzis, literally carved into the cliffs of Oia on the site of an old stone mine. This is an adults-only retreat with a restaurant, all-day bar, wine cellar, outdoor gym and spa.

Formerly known as Santo Maris, Santo Pure is within walking distance of Oia’s caldera—the hollow formed after a volcanic eruption—and will have 20 new suites to go with the refresh, bringing the total to 83 suites and two villas. This area will be divided into six “neighborhoods” with Mediterranean gardens, each with its own pool, giving it the feel of a typical island neighborhood.

Last but not least, The Villas by Santo Collection will be on a cliff of their own, offering 4-bedroom villas with oversized indoor and outdoor spaces. Clients staying here will have their own personal concierge service at their beck and call for private chefs, spa services and private jaunts on yachts or helicopters.
