Beginning Jan. 13, 2024, Qatar Airways will increase frequency at Miami International Airport (MIA) from seven to 10 weekly flights, offering new connections at the height of the winter season between Miami and more than 160 destinations.

The new frequencies will open connectivity to 36 new destinations from Doha, including Auckland, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Maldives, Nairobi, Singapore, and Seychelles, and deliver increased access to and from East Africa, Southern Africa and the Far East. Five new destinations will also gain connectivity to Doha, including Bogota and Guayaquil.

Miami travelers will benefit from greater connectivity on American Airlines flights to the Caribbean and South America via MIA, opening connections to Nassau, Santo Domingo, Grand Cayman, Saint Martin, Bogota, Quito and Cali.

Qatar Airways serves key destinations in the U.S. such as Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA), and Washington DC (IAD).

Following are some other Qatar Airways network increases this winter:

  • Bangkok—from 35 weekly to 38 weekly starting Dec. 15, 2023
  • Amsterdam—from 10 weekly to 14 weekly starting Dec. 16 , 2023
  • Belgrade—from 7 weekly to 10 weekly starting Dec. 23, 2023
  • Barcelona—from 18 weekly to 21 weekly starting Jan. 1, 2024
