African Travel, Inc. recently appointed Allison Bailey as its new district sales manager for the Midwest.
Bailey, who started at African Travel on December 17, is based in Austin, Texas and covers the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, she earned her B.A. in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley. Before joining African Travel she worked as a travel advisor at Direct Travel, where she gained firsthand experience as a frontline agent and helped execute Direct Travel’s events in the Western region. Voted one of ASTA’s top 30 “Rising Stars” in 2017, Bailey is also a Virtuoso Travel Academy graduate, and a member of the Young Travel Professionals industry group.
