Indian travel agency Services International is offering a selection of exclusive FAM trips for travel agents and tour operators.

The Golden Triangle FAM Trip takes in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, including visits to bucket list sites such as the Taj Mahal as well as UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Agra Fort, Red Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

The 6-day tour begins with two days in the capital city of Delhi with visits to sites including Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi; Qutub Minar, featuring one of the tallest minarets built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199; and the modern Hindu place of worship Lakshminarayan Temple.

The tour then departs the next day by road to Jaipur, where sites include the Pink City, painted pink a century ago to welcome a visiting Prince as a symbol of hospitality; and the Hawa Mahal, famous for its architecture and ventilation system. The following day the tour departs for Agra, taking in Fatehpur Sikri along the way, a city built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to scarcity of water. Once in Agra, the tour will visit the royal monument Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to commemorate his wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

The 7-day Golden Triangle Tour with Pushkar follows the same itinerary but adds a journey from Delhi to Pushkar by train. Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan with many sites of historical and Hindu religious significance, including a unique temple dedicated to Brahma.

The 7-day Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi follows the initial Golden Triangle itinerary but concludes with a flight from Delhi to Varanasi. After a morning boat tour on the river Ganges, sites visited will include Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and the Mosque of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb that was constructed on the site of an ancient Hindu temple.
