Travel Advisor Day at Warwick Paradise Island

Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas is recognizing travel advisors and their role in recognition of “Travel Advisor Day” on May 5, 2021 in the U.S. and Canada by offering a free night, nightly appreciation rates to stay at the adults-only, all-inclusive resort and commission incentives throughout the year. The property is celebrating travel advisors throughout the month of May.

“The events of this past year have demonstrated the importance of travel advisors as the trusted source for their clients’ vacations,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas, in a press statement. “Travel advisors play an instrumental role in returning clients to our resort and as a result we support travel professionals’ efforts with year round commissions up to 20 percent, plus cash incentives per booking. We also offer the appreciation rates and free night so travel advisors can enjoy our all-inclusive experience as a vacation with loved ones,” Davis added.

Travel Advisor Appreciation Rates & Free Nights
During Travel Advisor Month, Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas is providing travel advisors a third night free-of-charge when booking a personal stay May 1-31, 2021 for travel May 1-Dec. 20, 2021. Travel professionals can reserve up to two rooms for their personal stays with friends and family. One free night is offered with a minimum 3-night stay.

During the promotional booking period, the all-inclusive Travel Advisor Appreciation Rates start from $260 per night for two people booked in an Island View room. Appreciation rates are offered for all room categories with starting rates varying according to room category and travel dates.

An all-inclusive vacation features all meals and snacks; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; use of the 24-hour, fully-equipped fitness center (limited to four guests at a time), daily activities and entertainment; as well as gratuities, taxes, surcharges and 12 percent Value Added Tax (VAT). The resort charges a $12 net, pp, per night, resort fee that is not included in the room rate, is collectable at the hotel upon check-in and is inclusive of 12 percent VAT.

Travel professionals can reserve their stay by using TAFR through the website warwickhotels.com/paradise-island-bahamas. A valid IATA, TRUE or CLIA number is required. Travel advisor reservations have a flexible cancellation policy of 72 hours. The offer is subject to blackout dates and availability.

Travel Advisor Commissions
Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas provides travel professionals with year round commission up to 20 percent on client reservations. Travel advisors receive 20 percent commission for “Best Flexible Rate” reservations; 15 percent commission for special promotional and seasonal packages, as well as wedding and honeymoon packages; and 10 percent commission on reservations using special government, military, AARP, AAA and senior traveler rates (65 and over).
 

Clients who are booked using the “Best Flexible Rate” directly with the resort or via an LTW or GDS will be able to cancel their reservation up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty for stays through Dec. 20, 2021.

Travel Agents Incentive Program
Travel advisors who complete the WPIB Specialist training with a member of the sales team, can participate in the resort’s WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program, which provides monetary incentives up to $65 per client booking on top of their standard commissions to eligible retail travel professionals.*
 

Travel professionals with a valid IATA, TRUE or CLIA number can register for the WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program by completing the registration form, available by emailing [email protected]. The advisor will be contacted by a member of the sales department to conduct the training and will be provided with a personalized form to log all client bookings that are a minimum of three nights.

Qualified WPIB Specialists will receive the following cash incentives per booking (including group bookings) on top of their regular commissions once all reservations have been validated by the resort:

Direct Bookings Made Via the Resort’s Website

  • Three to four nights – $30
  • Five to six nights – $50
  • Seven or more nights – $65

Bookings via Participating Tour Operators or GDS**

  •  Three to four nights – $20
  •  Five to six nights – $40
  •  Seven or more nights – $55

WPIB Specialists can opt to redeem their incentives upon validation of their booking or accumulate incentives over time (up to 12 months) into a larger single check. All bookings can be reported up to 30 days after guest departure from the hotel.

Travel agents working at tour operators, tour operator subsidiaries and affiliates and any Warwick Hotels and Resorts affiliated company are not eligible for participation in the WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program.
