The new KidsWell program at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita teaches children about wellness and mindfulness—skills they can use even when their Mexican vacation is over.

KidsWell features daily mind and body relaxation activities for kids ages 5-12, such as bubble blowing breath work, rainbow relaxation watercolor classes, gratitude journaling and guided meditation.

Kids also can experience new textures and sensations exploring a sensory box, relax in bean bag Meditation Pods, make chocolate and create their own custom bubble bath “bombs.”

KidsWell is an extension of the resort’s Kids for All Seasons programming. The curriculum fosters connections with nature, promotes focus and self-awareness, and encourages better sleep. Activities are scheduled every day between 9 a.m and 4:45 p.m.

KidsWell supports positive mindsets and equips kids with a variety of practices to engage with the world around them,” said John O’Sullivan, regional v.p. and GM of the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, in a press statement. “After two years of ongoing stress and uncertainty for kids, we are proud to offer a new selection of activities that kids will benefit from long after their vacation with us comes to a close.”

The Kids for All Seasons program also includes an introduction to the Riviera Nayarit’s Huichol community, with activities such as making spiritual symbols known as Ojos de Dios (God’s Eyes), a private piñata party and decorating a ceramic “Catrina” doll.

Kids under age 6 eat free at the resort’s restaurants, and families can choose to stay at one of the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita’s spacious and newly renovated beach homes. The 3-, 4- and 5- bedroom haciendas have private pools, patios, grilling areas and access to a personal host. Travel advisors can secure these accommodations with an Advance Purchase deal of 25 percent off stays.
