Remote Lands will debut a private jet expedition for 14 guests in collaboration with Aman—The US and Caribbean: Adventures in the Extraordinary. The 8-night journey, which includes a Bombardier Global Express jet, takes places Feb. 21-March 1, 2021, exploring the remote landscapes of Aman resorts in the Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Utah and Wyoming.
“With most 2020 trips postponed or cancelled, there is an enormous pent-up travel demand for 2021. While our focus has always been Asia, as many travelers still prefer to stay close to home, we thought it was important to expand on our successful partnership with Aman to introduce an Americas trip,” said Catherine Heald, CEO and co-founder of Remote Lands, in a press release statement. “We are excited to bring those who are ready to travel on a memorable, life-changing trip through the varied landscapes and climates of the Caribbean, Utah and Wyoming, offering both beach relaxation and Western adventure.”
Beginning in Puerto Plata on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, travelers will start their journey at Amanera, a secluded beach retreat with ocean views on one side and a verdant rainforest on the other. From Amanera, travelers can enjoy a choice of exclusive activities including rum tasting, wreck diving, kite surfing, a ceviche cooking class, a day trip to colonial Santo Domingo and a wide-range of spa treatments.
The next stop on the itinerary is Amanyara on the tiny island of Providenciales in Turks & Caicos. Overlooking an unspoiled stretch of white sand and the crystal-clear waters of Northwest Point Marine National Park, the resort offers access to scuba diving sites, back-to-nature experiences, world-class seasonal cuisine and superb wellness facilities. Excursions include snorkeling, Hobie Cat sailing, eco-hiking, kayaking, Providenciales Island exploration and a private yacht excursion around the islands with Seabobs and jet skis in tow.
From palm-lined beach vistas to the drama of the desert, the third destination on the jet journey takes guests to Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah, a 600-acre oasis which blends seamlessly into the untamed wilderness of the red rock country. Step from jet to helicopter and arrive at Amangiri after a scenic aerial tour of the Grand Canyon. Located on the Utah-Arizona border, Canyon Point is made for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring great hiking, spectacular natural wonders, and stunning landscapes of canyons, mesas, mountains, gorges and rapids with views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Guests will have the choice of excursions including a 3-canyon hike led by an experienced Navajo guide, a day trip to the iconic Zion National Park, via ferrata hiking and climbing, horseback riding and a tour of the Monument Valley, to name just a few.
The final leg of the journey takes travelers farther north, to the American wilderness setting of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a valley flanked by the sweeping snowcapped Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges. A secluded hilltop retreat, Amangani rests at an elevation of 7,000 ft. and is the perfect location to spot the region’s abundant moose, bison and other wildlife wandering around the vast Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Guests can choose from a variety of winter excursions such as skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, fat tire biking, dogsledding and a snowcoach tour, in addition to art-focused options such as a photography workshop and tour of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Supplementary experiences include heli-skiing, snowcat powder skiing and a Yellowstone photo flight by helicopter. The winter wonderland itinerary also includes a scenic sleigh ride before the farewell dinner.
Throughout their journey, each guest or couple will have their own private car, driver and guide for all airport transfers. To ensure the trip is completely personalized, guests can also select their preferred daily.
Safety and well-being are top priorities for all travelers throughout the journey. All local government requirements will be followed, and the wearing of masks will be required in public areas. In addition to following the government regulations, all guests will be required to present a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival at Amanera. This negative PCR test will also be valid for travel to the Turks & Caicos Islands. Guests will be tested upon arrival at Amanyara as well, and temperature checks will be administered prior to each departure to ensure the well-being of everyone.
Remote Lands and Aman’s private jet journey across the U.S. and Caribbean is priced at $59,888 per person based on double occupancy with a single supplement cost of $19,888. To find out more, visit remotelands.com or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
