Viking has introduced an enhanced Travel Advisor Portal to support its trade partners. The updated platform provides tools for booking and marketing Viking’s river, ocean and expedition voyages.

“For 27 years, curious travelers have explored the world in comfort with Viking, and one of the reasons we have enjoyed success is because of our relationships with travel advisors,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking, in a press statement. “We have always had some of the most trade-friendly policies, including our history first and only major cruise line with no NCFs. This new and improved portal is the latest step in our effort to be the best business partner for travel advisors.”

Viking’s New Portal Improves the Booking Experience

The portal now features improved search capabilities for cruise types, allowing advisors to filter itineraries by location and date. A new offer code search function has been added to streamline the booking of promotional sailings. The booking dashboard enables sorting by payment deadlines, while a guest name search and booking status filter simplify client management.

Travel advisors can now select stateroom categories through an interactive interface and add Air Plus during the online booking process, reducing the need for phone calls. The portal also allows for eQuote generation, with options to download or print quotes for clients.

Additional resources available include marketing content, assets for co-branded websites, and access to the Travel Advisor Academy. These tools aim to enhance advisors’ ability to sell Viking’s products effectively.

This update aligns with Viking’s commitment to trade-friendly policies, including its status as the only major cruise line without non-commissionable fares.
