SpongeBob SquarePants and friends, including lovable Patrick and curmudgeon Squidward, are taking over Riviera Maya and Punta Cana. All sorts of fun activities will be taking place at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana when the annual Summer of SpongeBob party comes to town May 26 to Sept. 5.
Families can look forward to signature events and elevated programming at both resorts, including Bikini Bottom-inspired food & beverage experiences, scavenger hunts, double the character interactions, SpongeBob viewing parties, Bikini Bottom-inspired tiki-themed beach parties, themed crafts, the Signature Pajama Jam breakfast, and Nick Live! Poolside with dance shows, live music, and encounters with SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy and more. Guests celebrating birthdays can also enjoy surprise moments and special experiences, including party arrangements, balloons & decor, birthday cakes, and even a Happy Birthday call from SpongeBob himself.
SpongeBob is Headed to Riviera Maya and Punta Cana
“We’re so excited to re-introduce the Summer of SpongBob event to Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts,” said Daniel Lozano, v.p. of operations at Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in a press release statement. “This character-centric event invites guests to immerse themselves in the joy, imagination, and playfulness of the Spongebob universe through exclusive events, surprise and delight moments, and elevated character programming all summer long.”
Guests staying at either resort will have complimentary access to the Aqua Nick water park, spacious and themed family suites featuring the brand’s globally beloved shows and characters, Nickelodeon Place, Club Nick for kids and signature Sliming events.
