The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) recognized eight influential industry leaders whose visionary contributions in 2024 fueled tourism growth across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. These honorees have elevated the tri-island state’s global presence through innovative storytelling, strategic partnerships and immersive travel experiences.

“These extraordinary individuals have been instrumental in showcasing Grenada’s unparalleled cultural, culinary, and natural treasures,” said Randall Dolland, Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority, in a press statement. “Their dedication and expertise continue to shape the future of tourism in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.”

Visionary Leaders Advancing Destination Growth

The honorees recognized for their outstanding contributions to Grenada’s tourism industry include:

  • Chef Alexander Smalls—A James Beard Award-winning chef and Grenada’s Culinary Ambassador, Smalls has played a pivotal role in promoting the island’s rich culinary heritage.
  • Glenda Cox—An Emmy-winning television producer and Caribbean cultural advocate, Cox has spotlighted Grenada’s cultural vibrancy through compelling media narratives.
  • Rondel Holder—A three-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and travel writer, Holder has highlighted Grenada’s captivating culture and scenic beauty through acclaimed works.
  • Sherry Hall—As Partnership Marketing Manager at ALG Vacation, Hall has forged strategic alliances that have expanded Grenada’s market reach, driven visitor arrivals, and enhanced the island’s presence in the Caribbean travel sector.
  • Jamilla Smith—Founder of E.E.F.Y Travel LLC, Smith has positioned Grenada as a premier destination for luxury and wellness travel through her travel agency.
  • Diandra & Kevin Fraser—Owners of KaiDi Global, the Frasers have curated exclusive luxury travel and event experiences that celebrate Grenada’s cultural richness.
  • Adrienne Brown—As the visionary behind Breathless Getaways, Brown has designed personalized luxury retreats showcasing Grenada’s hidden gems.
  • Eartha Franklin—Founder of WOWCATIONS, Franklin specializes in culturally immersive travel experiences, encouraging diverse travelers to explore Grenada.
