Brightline has announced a new Travel Professional Program offering travel advisors commissionable bookings. Qualified U.S. and Canadian advisors can now book clients’ travel on Brightline between Orlando and South Florida (Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach) with access to the lowest published fares and earn commissions of up to 10 percent for both PREMIUM and SMART services.
Previously, Brightline had offered travel advisors a promo code, but this new program shows Brightline’s dedication to the travel advisor community and, as Johanna Rojas, sr. v.p., partnerships and sales for the intercity passenger rail company, says, allows agents to more seamlessly “connect their clients to and from the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World’ to South Florida’s iconic resorts and even the ‘Cruise Capital of the World.’
“The Brightline team is excited to roll out this new program dedicated to travel professionals as we grow our business together,” she adds.
Brightline Increases Orlando-South Florida Service
Last month, Brightline increased its service to meet the demands of its recent Orlando expansion, offering 15 departures in each direction between Orlando and South Florida.
The new connectivity between Central Florida and South Florida, says Rojas, allows travel advisors to create itineraries that take in all of Florida’s iconic attractions. “Where previously,” she tells Recommend, “if you were flying into Florida, you’d have to choose Orlando or Miami, with Brightline—and all our destinations—you can fly into Orlando, jump on the train and spend a day in Palm Beach or add a few days in Miami and come back. It’s really getting the best taste of Central and South Florida.”
Say you have Disney or Universal aficionados as clients, Rojas points out, “they can land in Orlando, go to the parks for a few days, then get on Brightline, travel to Miami and get on a cruise…all in one [vacation].”
Brightline’s Travel Professional Program supports the popular From Station to Vacation cruise offer, which connects cruisers to Florida’s top cruise ports in style. When reserving a PREMIUM ticket, a complimentary Brightline+ ride is included so the vacation can begin at the door by getting picked up from home or hotel, and to the cruise port all in one ticket. The PREMIUM ticket also includes access to exclusive station lounges, priority boarding, extra space, as well as complimentary drinks and snacks along the way.
Luxury passengers traveling from Orlando to South Florida in PREMIUM will feel as if they’re traveling in first-class, mentions Rojas, with a warm meal, F&B offerings, snacks, dessert options, etc. “Identical to a first-class flight,” she says.
