Bottleworks Hotel, the 139-key boutique hotel that reimagines the 1930’s Coca-Cola bottling plant in downtown Indy by paying homage to its rich history, has opened.
Built for the modern traveler, the hotel takes over the plant’s main building and features art-deco details restored to their former glory. Historic architectural features are intertwined with modern amenities, including a fitness center, a courtyard, room service and unique food, beverage and retail offerings. Each room at Bottleworks Hotel delivers a distinct experience, curating a personal stay for every guest.
“The grand opening of Bottleworks Hotel is a huge milestone for Bottleworks District and for the city of Indianapolis,” said Jeff Whiteman, Chief Operating Officer for Geronimo Hospitality Group, in a statement. “The restoration of the Coca-Cola bottling works administration building transformed into the boutique Bottleworks Hotel showcases the best of Indianapolis, giving guests both near and far a new way to stay.”
The hotel is a marquee property of Bottleworks District, the $300 million mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Indy, opening this winter. Cocktail bar Sundry & Vice will occupy the lobby lounge, while Cunningham Restaurant Group’s new Asian restaurant concept, Modita, will be located on the first floor. Fan-favorite Blue Collar Coffee Co., retailer Good Neighbor and The W Nail Bar will also open in Bottleworks Hotel this winter. Other properties opening in Phase I of Bottleworks District include The Garage, the city’s first food hall, Living Room Theaters, Pins Mechanical and more.
