Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced the addition of three brand-new Super Ships to its fleet, set to launch in 2027. These vessels will mark the final step in Uniworld’s transition to an all-Super Ship fleet.
Designed with opulence in mind, the new ships will feature elegant interiors inspired by the regions they sail, incorporating high-quality materials such as custom fabrics, hand-carved wood and marble flooring. The new ships will navigate the Rhine, Main, Danube and Douro rivers throughout Europe.
Redefining Luxury River Cruising
“Our 2027 expansion represents a defining moment for Uniworld as we complete our transformation into a fully Super Ship fleet,” said Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, in a press statement. “We are not focused on merely increasing the number of ships—we are dedicated to continuously redefining the luxury river cruise experience. These new vessels will showcase our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, ensuring an unparalleled journey for our guests.”
The upcoming Super Ships will join Uniworld’s recent fleet additions, including the S.S. Emilie, debuting in 2026; the S.S. Elisabeth, arriving in 2025; and the S.S. Victoria, which launched in 2024.
With this expansion, Uniworld’s fleet size will have grown by over 10% since 2020. Each vessel is designed as a floating boutique hotel, featuring curated artwork and furnishings and decor that reflects the destinations they explore. Like the S.S. Emilie, which draws inspiration from Austrian painter Gustav Klimt and his muse Emilie Flöge, the new ships will be influenced by notable figures connected to their respective sailing regions.
More details about the new ships and itineraries will be released in the coming months.
