Ultra-luxury yachts keep making headlines, with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s second beauty, Ilma, marking an important milestone with a successful float out. Set to debut in 2024, Ilma is currently still at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, where it has now embarked on the final-stage construction before it begins sea trials in April. Reservations for this vessel and its sister yacht, Evrima, are currently open and both are available for private charter.

The Ritz-Carlton Signature Luxury and Service on Water

Ilma’s next state consists of completing interiors, fixtures and all the fittings for the suites, restaurants and other public spaces. The yacht is expected to set sail on its maiden voyage in less than a year.

The vessel second in The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Ilma measures 790 ft and has 224 ample suites, all with private terraces, and can welcome up to 448 guests. Suite categories include the Owners Suite, with a private whirlpool and outdoor shower on the terrace, the Concierge Suite, the Ilma Suite, the View Suite, the Grand Suite, the Signature Suite and the Terrace Suite. All accommodations have king beds, Personal Concierge services, 24-hour in-suite dining, free WiFi, espresso machines, a complimentary chilled bottle of champagne on arrival, digital flat-screen TVs and more. Ilma will have a Marina where guests can lounge as well as have direct access to the water for kayaking, paddle boarding and other watersports, while just above it, the Marina Terrace awaits with handcrafted cocktails and light bites.

The ship and the lifestyle will, of course, mirror iconic service and luxury standards The Ritz-Carlton brand is known for. It will have five different dining experiences plus a Ritz-Carlton Spa, the Ritz Kids program, a full-service gym, a humidor, an infinity pool and much more. The new ship will join Evrima visiting the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, as well as select ports in Central and South America, depending on the season.
