Costa Rica’s El Mangroove, Autograph Collection has put the finishing touches on a six-month renovation that resulted in gorgeous new suites and elevated common areas. Located near the Santa Rosa National Park—a conservation area rich in wildlife—and spread out across 17 acres of beachfront forest, the popular resort added 36 new accommodations bringing their total suite count to 121.

These new suites belong to three separate categories. You can now book clients in an of the four new Habitat Superior suites with King-sized beds, a sofa bed in the living area and a private terrace with a hammock for afternoon naps, or the four new Root Deluxe/Superior accommodations that offer a furnished balcony or an outdoor terrace with a hammock, respectively, in addition to the King-sized bed and sofa bed. Then there are the new Resort Suites—ideal for families—with connecting rooms for direct access while still maintaining comfort and privacy. There are 16 of these with King-sized beds and another 12 with two Queen-sized beds. One is ADA-compliant.

More on El Mangroove, Autograph Collection’s Refresh

In addition to the new suites, the resort has given its common areas a complete makeover. At the heart of your client’s vacation is the new SI&IP Zone, a fabulous family-friendly space that embodies the country’s chill pura vida vibe. It has four pools, a kid’s pool, a pool bar and four cabanas, each with a lounge-bed platform that extends into the pool for maximum splashing pleasure. A new Mediterranean restaurant, Malu, joins the two already existing options that feature Costa Rican and international menus, all with a zero-km philosophy; i.e., everything served travels the least kilometers possible from source to plate. The resort also has a full-service spa and fitness center.

El Mangroove, Autograph Collection is only 20 minutes from the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport and is part of Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
