After a multi-phase, $14 million remodel, Palace Resorts’ Playacar Palace is showing off its new look and amenities to guests at this beachfront property in Playa del Carmen.

Renovation details include upgrades to the guestrooms, lobby, front desk, restaurants, and lounge areas. Within each of the 201 guestrooms, travelers will find new decor, modern furnishings, Lavazza coffee makers, enhanced showers and vanity areas, as well as advanced jets added to the in-room double whirlpool tubs. Private terraces are also now included in the property’s existing Walk Out suites. In addition, Playacar Palace has introduced technology that will allow guests to wear a bracelet, which will open the doors to their accommodations with the wave of their hands.

Guests who book a stay of five nights or more will receive $1,500 in resort credits, which can be used on spa and beauty salon treatments, golf outings, romantic dinners, wedding packages, and off-site excursions and tours.

Rates start at $280 pp dbl per night. For more information, visit palaceresorts.com.
