This week, Universal Orlando Resort announced it has partnered once again with Loews Hotels and Resorts to open the Caribbean-themed Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in summer 2016.

The 1,000-room property will be located across from the recently opened Cabana Bay Beach Resort, making it the fifth resort property for the destination. Keeping up with Universal’s immersive experience motif, the themed resort will use traditional island styling with modern touches, and feature a resort-style pool with a waterslide, sand beach, fire pit, and a children’s play area—located in the central courtyard surrounded by the hotel’s guestrooms. Guests will walk into a colorful and casual Caribbean hideaway built around a lush, tropical river and towering waterfall. A water taxi and shuttle will be available, giving guests access to all of the dining and entertainment options throughout Universal Orlando Resort.

Room rates will be announced at a later date, but perks include Early Park Admission to Universal’s theme parks, full-service restaurants, a quick-service marketplace, poolside bar and grill, and a fitness center. Reservations will be accepted beginning spring 2105. For more information, visit universalorlando.com/travelagentuniversalorlando.com/Hotels/Loews-Sapphire-Falls-Resort.aspx, or loewshotels.com.
