The Wellness Experience
Founder Dilip Barot shared his childhood upbringing story with us while on a press call. He told us how he lived in a small space with nine family members above a temple in India. He says, “I learned from my parents, mainly my mother, about meditation in motion with my eyes open…I learned that around me there might be chaos, but within myself I was feeling grounded and centered with my emotions and my thoughts.” With that, Amrit’s goal is to be recognized as a leader in the fields of wellness travel and holistic living.

Wellness features include indoor-outdoor fitness offerings, as well as mind-body offerings, an oceanfront gym offering personal training, TRX, Pilates, spinning, Thai Chi, bootcamp, Qi Qong, yoga, and meditation.

The property’s 100,000-sq.-ft. spa and wellness facility will be four floors high, and will feature indoor and outdoor spaces, 21 treatment rooms, 12 of which will feature in-room showers; a Thai massage room; an Ashiatsu massage room; a Hamam; two body scrub treatment rooms; and private beachfront treatments will also be available. There will also be an Aayush Hydrothermal Experience (the only one in Florida), which will span 40,000-sq.-ft. and will feature heat therapy, cryotherapy and hydrotherapy through a sequence of hot and cold bathing pools, a Hydro-Reflexology Path, a lap pool, steam and saunas, Inhalation Salt Therapy Room, Arctic Chill Fountains, and an Effusion Shower, which combined with aromas will shower guests in a fine mist, an intense storm, and a downpour of rain or mystic arctic chill.

Other wellness offerings include Integrated Wellness Therapies such as traditional Chinese medicine, Sound and Light healing, Ayurveda, plus traditional massage and facial services. The Wellness Zone will feature complimentary medicine practitioners, naturopaths, nutritionists, acupuncturists, osteopaths, an IV Infusion Lounge, and hydrotherapy. The Infusion Zone allows guests to relax as nutrients are administered. Vitamin infusions are administered by a nurse, and can improve skin, hair, nails, and boost energy levels.

There will also be bespoke scalp treatments, a nail lounge offering reflexology, as well as anti-aging, and deluxe manicures and pedicures. And, Nightly Satsang, Amrit’s complimentary daily signature yoga experience will be offered. Statsang, which comes from the Sanskrit meaning “in the company of truth,” is held every evening as guests reflect on the day, and immerse in the healing experience.

In addition, the oceanfront demonstration kitchen will feature mid-day cooking classes to enhance guests’ knowledge in super foods, juice cleansing, plant-based cuisine, organic healthy foo, Ayurveda, and more.

Wellness packages will be available for 3-, 5-, or 7-days. There will also be day passes available for the Wellness Center and Spa based on availability.

As Darlene Fiske, of Swell Public Relations said, “What’s trending post pandemic, as we emerge, are longer stays. People will take fewer short trips, and longer more experiential vacations.” Amrit will offer your clients the sense of peace, calm, and relaxation they may need after months of quarantine and sheltering at home.
