A new accommodations concept at Nassau’s SLS Baha Mar includes redesigning all 299 guestrooms, including 107 suites and residences, all furnished by RH. The focus is on various types of travelers, from families seeking upscale vacations to incentive groups.
“Our refreshed vision for SLS Baha Mar is designed for guests who have grown up with us, offering an experience that seamlessly combines luxury with the practicalities of traveling as a family or larger group, including enhanced privacy, space, and comfort,” said Axel Gasser, Executive Vice President Caribbean & LATAM for SLS, in a press statement.
SLS Baha Mar’s Newest Concept
The new design incorporates Bahamian culture and island scenery, blending SLS brand colors with the natural colors of the surrounding landscape. Each room features custom wallpaper by Indie Walls, showcasing tropical palms and a peacock motif. Local Bahamian art from The Current gallery adds cultural authenticity to the spaces.

We are excited to welcome guests to this thrilling new chapter in the SLS Baha Mar journey.”
Suites and residences have kitchenettes, including stovetops, ovens and washer/dryers, catering to longer stays, families and group retreats. The three-bedroom oceanfront residences now boast wraparound balconies, ideal for enjoying ocean views.
The property currently has a couple of promotions in place:
- The Fourth Night on Us package includes a complimentary fourth night and a $200 food and beverage credit for use at any of the hotel’s four flagship venues.
- The Black Friday Special offers a 35 percent discount on rooms and suites. This promotion is available for booking through Dec. 4, 2024, with a minimum stay requirement of three nights. The travel period for this offer extends from Nov. 21, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2025.
