A vacation in The Florida Keys means spending time on the water, and with the latest offerings coming out of this chain of small islands, there is something for everyone—from the nature-loving active traveler to the wine aficionado.

In Islamorada, Robbie’s Marina welcomed the addition of Catamaran Blue, a well-appointed catamaran operated by Sundance Watersports and offering daily snorkeling excursions, as well as sunset cruises on select evenings. Snorkeling excursions depart at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for the 2-hour-and-30-minute adventure. Those looking to admire the sunsets that The Florida Keys are known for can head out on a sunset cruise aboard Catamaran Blue on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The cruises depart 90 minutes before sunset and return 90 minutes to two hours after sunset.

Many have tried daytime kayaking in The Florida Keys, but now with The Florida Keys Wildlife Society teaming up with Big Pine Kayak Adventures, travelers can try their hand at paddling under the moonlit sky during a Full Moon Kayak excursion. The 2-hour adventure will take kayakers through Big Pine’s National Key Deer Refuge, one of four wildlife refuges in The Keys. Lovers of wine can head to Key West to get their fix while at sea on a Danger Charters’ Wind & Wine Sunset SailDeparting on Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m. through mid-May, the upscale wine-themed sailings bring guests around historic Key West while they nibble on appetizers and sample eight different wines. Beer fans won’t be left out of this experience as an array brews from around the world are also available.
