This “Magical Town”—its official denomination given by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism—enjoys a balmy climate and has a quaint historical town center and a lovely central plaza and gardens. The town sits at 6,100 ft above sea level in the Sierra Madre mountains, making it an all-season destination with a reputation for wellness.
