Bike Odyssey, a newly launched bicycle tour operator based in California, has unveiled the 29-day Che – Bariloche to Santiago tour tracing the footsteps of Che Guevara through Chile and Argentina. The tour, scheduled for Nov. 17- Dec. 18, 2018, covers 1,461 miles from Bariloche to Santiago and is segmented into two 14-day stages. Rates start at $6,486 per stage or $12,637 for the entire tour. Highlights include ferrying across the lake district of Nahuel Huapi National Park in Argentina, crossing the world’s second highest mountain range by bike, and circumnavigating the expanse of the Alerce Andino National Park. Travelers will also witness Chile’s Volcan Villarica, visit the waterfall of Salto Los Indios, experience the famous Maule region’s oceanic food culture, and ride through the Reserva Nacional Radal Siete Tazas, famed for its rock formations, turquoise pools and seven waterfall, plus cycle around the Casablanca Valley wine region.
