MSC Cruises has opened sales for the new MSC World Europa, the first MSC World Class ship, sailing to Dubai in December 2022.
The innovative and environmentally advanced MSC World Europa will make its inaugural voyage on a 4-night sailing from Doha in Qatar to its new homeport of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It will then offer 7-night cruises from Dubai, calling at Abu Dhabi; Sir Bani Yas Island; Dammam, Saudi Arabia; Al Ahsa oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage site; and Doha, Qatar; before returning to Dubai for an overnight in the city.
MSC World Europa will then head to the Mediterranean Sea, departing Dubai on March 25, 2023, for its summer 2023 season. The ship will offer 7-night cruises calling at the Italian ports of Genoa, Naples and Messina, as well as Valletta in Malta, Barcelona in Spain and Marseille in France.
Sales are open and MSC Voyagers Club members will benefit from an additional 5 percent discount for a period of two weeks, on top of their usual 5 percent discount.

Put it simply, MSC World Europa marks the beginning of a new era for cruising.”
MSC World Europa will be the longest ship in MSC Cruises’ fleet at 1,093 ft. long, 22 decks high and boasting 430,556 sf of public space. The size of the ship allows for distinct districts with their own mood and experiences, such as an adults-only district; a promenade offering entertainment, shops and bars; and a separate family district that houses ten new kids’ facilities.
The ship’s design will feature a 90-degree plumb bow shaped like an arrow and a unique Y-shaped aft that opens onto the 341-ft long Europa Promenade. The promenade will be half-open to the sky and half-covered by a LED-sky screen, which will feature custom displays throughout the day. The architectural centerpiece of the ship will be The Spiral, a dry slide spanning 11 decks, making it the longest at sea.
Amenities will include six swimming pools, 14 hot tubs, and 13 dining venues, including six specialty restaurants. Dining options will include La Pescaderia, a traditional seafood grill with alfresco seating; American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut; Asian-inspired Kaito Teppanyaki Grill and Sushi Bar; and Latin American street food-inspired Hola! Tacos & Cantina.
MSC World Europa will offer 19 different accommodation categories, including balcony suites and staterooms overlooking the promenade, duplex MSC Yacht Club suites with large balconies and private hot tub, and ocean view staterooms with a panoramic sliding window that turns into a glass balustrade when open.
MSC World Europa will be the first ship in MSC Cruises’ fleet to run on Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), which is one of the world’s cleanest marine fuels available at scale, and set to play a key role in the transition to the decarbonization of international shipping. It reduces local air pollutant emissions such as sulphur oxides by up to 99 percent and nitrogen oxides by up to 85 percent.
MSC World Europa will also feature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, shore-to-ship power connectivity, advanced wastewater treatment systems, an underwater radiated noise management system and a wide range of energy efficient equipment that help reduce and optimize engine use.
