Transcend Cruises is preparing its own fleet of purpose-built vessels, expected to launch in 2025, but interest has been such that the company decided to begin operations this month onboard one of Riverside Luxury Cruises’ Rhine Class ships, contracted and branded as Advance by Transcend. The vessel will operate on the Rhine and Moselle in 2023, with wider deployments through December 2024 on customized group itineraries.
With a model that serves private groups rather than retail passengers, Transcend can move its ships to the location chosen by your clients. The company is currently designing and building its own fleet dedicated to the group market, including corporate and incentive planners, tour operators, private family groups, lifestyle brands and more.
Advance by Transcend FAM Trip Details
The FAM trip is open for travel advisors and meeting planners to come aboard and experience their uber-flexible product, which promises “no canned itineraries, standard shore programming or generic F&B.”
Prices are $1199 for double occupancy, $1799 for single occupancy, and you can take along a guest for $1399. The cruise includes all food and beverages, daily activities including shore experiences and gratuities. You are responsible for airfare, transfers and incidentals.
Wondering about an incentive? They have you covered: the price of the FAM plus an airfare credit of $2000 is applicable towards the first charter. (Total credit can reach $3799 for single occupancy.) Transcend Cruises is now selling for 2023 and 2024 charters.
The Advance by Transcend journey begins in Koblenz on Oct. 10-11, then stops in Bernkastel, Cochem and Boppard before returning to Koblenz on Oct. 15.
