The Caribbean just got easier to get to for your clients with JetBlue’s announcement of new and expanding service to five of its hottest destinations: St. Kitts, Belize, Grenada, Nassau Paradise Island and Barbados.

Heading into High Season with JetBlue

St. Kitts Tourism Authority recently announced JetBlue would help it and its sister island of Nevis—which is accessed via a short ferry ride—head fully into the winter season with a direct flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport beginning Nov. 2, 2023. Your clients can catch a flight on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. As a side note, United Airlines is also adding to its St. Kitts service with a seasonal flight from November 2023 through August 2024, and Air Canada is joining in by upgrading to larger planes, thus increasing its flight capacity by 35 percent.

JetBlue is also poised to become the only airline to serve the New York-JFK to Belize route starting on Dec. 8, 2023, when it will launch nonstop service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. And, in a previous article, we mentioned the airline’s new flight to the island nation of Grenada, which will operate on Saturdays starting on Nov. 4, 2023.

Caribbean lovers in Los Angeles can hop onto JetBlue’s first-ever nonstop flight from the West Coast to Nassau Paradise Island starting on Nov. 4, 2023. The once-weekly flight will depart on Saturdays and joins its Nassau service from numerous U.S. markets, including Ft. Lauderdale, Boston and New York. The flight is already open for booking and offers the airline’s Mint premium experience.

Of note is the fact that Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport is the first airport outside of the U.S. that offers TSA PreCheck, U.S. Customs and Immigration Preclearance and U.S. Global Entry, making travel to and from the country easy and convenient for U.S. citizens.

Last but most certainly not least, Barbados will also receive increased airlift courtesy of JetBlue, with a second weekly flight from Boston Logan International Airport starting on Nov. 1, 2023. The flight will run on Wednesdays, adding an additional option to the current Saturday service. A second daily flight will also be added from the JFK hub starting in February 2024.
