The Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island will be reopening on February 11, 2021 after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 600-suite Cove is nestled along a protected cove between two private white sand beaches and offers exclusive experiences and personalized service.

The adults-only Cove pool features 20 private beach cabanas with Bahamian-inspired art and design; and the Caribbean’s only outdoor gaming, complimented by beachside dining from Bahamian Chef Julie Lightbourn’s Sip Sip.

Indoor gaming at Sea Glass, exceptional cuisine at Fish by the world-renowned and Michelin star Chef José Andrés, and shopping at Escape Boutique are all accessible to guests of The Cove.

At the tip of the Cove Pennisula is The Bahamas’ most noted and internationally acclaimed artist Antonius Roberts’ Sacred Space sculpture series. A permanent installation, the interactive exhibit is formed out of local Madeira wood. It represents seven dancing women who share the vision of conserving Bahamian culture through their intention of triumph, hope, and determination.

Travelers’ safety is reassured with the comprehensive Atlantis Clean & Safe Promise, and team members are prepared and trained to attend to every guest’s well-being.  With access to Atlantis’ Aquaventure with its multitude of slides and pools, Atlantis Casino, five miles of pristine beaches, a wide selection of diverse dining, spa, golf, shopping, a multitude of attractions, and more, guests of The Cove have more than enough to keep them entertained without ever having to leave the resort grounds.

“We are thrilled to be reopening The Cove Atlantis and re-introducing this elegant, sensorial retreat to our returning guests as well as new guests. Those looking for a redefined luxury getaway complete with white-glove Bahamian service, exclusive amenities, suite accommodations with breathtaking ocean views, private beach access, and a true oasis to relax and reconnect with their loved ones will find it all at The Cove,” said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director, Atlantis Paradise Island. “We look forward to debuting upgrades and experiences in the months ahead so guests can create new once-in-a-lifetime memories and immerse themselves in our authentic Bahamian culture.

To further protect the health and well-being of Paradise Island’s residents, guests, and team members – Atlantis Paradise Island, Ocean Club Golf Course, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, and Comfort Suites have partnered together to create the Paradise Island Safe Zone, an enhanced COVID-19 screened area.  Registered guests of the Paradise Island safe zone properties will have access to all three properties’ dining options, retail shops, spa, golf, Marina Village,  Atlantis Casino, and more, and sanitized transportation provided to all venues. Guests of the safe zone properties are not required to take The Bahamas’ Day 5 COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test if they remain in the Paradise Island Safe Zone for their vacation duration.
